Good service and shipping but the quality of the Delrin rim ordered was disappointing. I have played on a 3B mouthpiece with a Delrin rim for years and I have not had any issues. My new 4B mouthpiece also has a Delrin rim and this rim seems light compared to the old 3B one. The thread on the 4B rim failed in a matter of days. You did replace it, and so far so good, but I wonder how long this rim will last?

Very friendly and positive contacts with customer service, shipping was a bit problematic, but this is not the fault of Paxman: the import from UK to EU has cost about a 1-week delay...

Very quick and efficient. Valves a bit sticky but sooned loosened off. Presumed all appropriately oiled on delivery but some reassurance on this would have been useful.

Order was dispatched to billing address initially rather than to the specified shipping address, however when I alerted Paxman they responded very quickly and dispatched the order to the correct shipping address.

Took a star off customer service because the website said that this item was on back order, but my money was taken anyway. This worried me a bit, until the item actually arrived - which it did, very quickly, so I suspect the website was incorrect in saying the item was on back order.

Once again Paxman proves they're the best for french horn accessories. Both items arrived very promptly and do the job.

Only issue - a strange one - was that there was no voice part, only the score. A publishers issue no doubt, but Paxman did say they'd ask and let me know and I haven't heard anything.

At first when I placed the order, the shop was out of stock, but they worked fast and delivered quickly. Product is good, but it got a little bit frizzled during the shopping process. Overall good service and quality.

This was exactly what I needed! I live in an accommodation with people living on most sides of my apartment, so it feels good to be able to practice and know I'm not disturbing them.
The mute works wonderfully at dramatically cutting the external sound down (maybe to below the level at which you'd expect from someone talking, but not loudly), and the sound quality of the studio is great (it feels like I'm in a room with good acoustics).
Delivery was a day longer than expected, but well package.

It would help if the two oils I ordered came with instructions so I would know which oil to use on which parts of my French horn. They look very similar l. I ordered a Rotary Valve Oil and a Valve Oil.

The products were just what I was looking for as someone who has not taken enough care of their instrument previously. The kit let me start from scratch essentially. However, I emailed nearer to the beginning of lockdown to ask about the products and received no response which was disappointing. Understandably products weren't being shipped, but I wanted to pre-order the kit for when they were shipping again. When I was finally able to order again it did come promptly.
