The Alexander Model 503 has been chosen twice as the winner of the German Musical Instrument Awards (1995 & 2005). With its change valve at a 90 degree angle, this horn featured reduced interference when changing sides.
The 503 has many features and build qualities found in its older brother, the 1103. With a simpler minibal construction for the lever action, the 503 provides a more economical alternative whilst still providing the traditional Alexander sound.
Each Alex 503 horn includes a complimentary care package which contains an Alexander mouthpiece, a set of oils, cloth, pencil, hand guard and pencil holder. Alexander horn cases are also available and sold separately.

Paxman Musical Instruments Limited give a two year warranty on the Alexander 503. This does not cover accidental damage or lacquer wear.
